Frustration

Maybe I am having a baking block or maybe I just need to take a break for a bit, but it seems the last couple things I have attempted have turned out completely wrong. What's a girl to do? Mabye it's the weather or all the other distractions in my life. BUt I made cinnimon raisin bread today and my dough never rose. I didn't want to just throw it out, so I finished it and it is so dense and thick, I am not a happy baker.

Strawberry Pie

Picked fresh berries from the farm, made this beautiful pie. Until I cut into it, it was very soupy. Not happy with it, tasted so yummy though. I think I should have cooked the berries longer with the cornstarch mixture.
